• Federal University of Technology Minna (FUTMINNA) is a Federal Government owned University located in Minna, Nigeria.
• FUT MINNA was founded in 1983, and the first Vice-Chancellor was Professor J.O. Ndagi who served from 1983 to 1990.
• FUT MINNA specializes in technological education. Offering Bachelor’s of Technology, and Master’s of Technology in various technology-inclined fields.
• The university is a designated Centre of Excellence in Biotechnology and Genetic Engineering and has a core competence in the development of vaccines and drugs, and also small arms design in partnership with the Armed Forces of Nigeria.
• The governing bodies are the Council and the Senate.
• In the beginning, the university took over the facilities of the former Government Teachers’ College Bosso, for use permanently.
• The University Library was established in 1984 and is known as Ibrahim Badamasi Babangida is the main library that serves all campuses.
• The present University Librarian is Dr. Katamba Abubakar Saka.

• The student-run radio station Search FM 92.3 Campus radio started official transmission in August 2010. Unfortunately, the radio station was gutted by fire in 2013.
• Presently, the radio station has a new building and a fully equipped studio which was commissioned in 2014 by the Vice Chancellor.
• The current vice-chancellor is Prof. Faruk Adamu Kuta.

Candidates Eligible to Buy FUTMinna Post UTME Screening Form

To qualify for the screening, candidates MUST meet the following criteria:

• Only UTME and DE candidates who selected FUTMINNA as their first choice are eligible for the screening exercise.

• The right UTME subject combinations are mandatory, as prescribed in the JAMB Brochure, and all candidates must have at least five ‘O’ Level credits, including Mathematics and English Language.

• Moreover, DE candidates must have obtained a minimum of Lower Credit at National Diploma and/or Higher National Diploma levels or Merit at the NCE level.

Please note: candidates who do not meet these requirements may still change to any other course that suits their qualifications, though this will require a processing fee of N2,000.

Step by step application:

• Click on “2024/2025 UPASE”
• On the page that appears, click on ‘UPASE- DE/UTME Login.’
• Enter your JAMB registration number.
• Enter one of your names.
• Click on ‘Login’.
• Upload your ‘O’ level result(s).
• DE candidates should also upload their Higher level result(s).
• Choose any other course from the list of Departments if your UTME/’O’ level subject combinations do not meet the minimum requirements for the course registered with JAMB.
• Click on ‘Proceed to payment gateway‘.
• Confirm your entries.
• Click on the ‘payment link‘ button to proceed to the payment gateway.
• Payment is done through Debit Card (MasterCard – Most preferred) or Verve (only the ones enabled for online payment) or Bank branch (by generating RRR from application portal).
• Enter ATM Debit card details (Card number, expiry date, CVV 2, i.e. the 3 digits behind your card and pin number)
  If payment is successful, the screen will display all the data you previously entered.
• Click on the ‘Print’ button to print the document.
•  Keep checking the University website for further information.

NOTE: It is essential that candidates enter their UTME Registration Number and their Full Names exactly as they appear on the JAMB slip during the payment and registration process.
