• Modibbo Adama University, Yola is a public research university in Girei, a town in Adamawa State, Northeastern Nigeria and some 10km from Jimeta.
• It is one of the four federal technology universities established with the sole purpose of advancing science-based research.
•  The university has been accredited by the National Universities Commission (NUC).
•  The university offers associate’s, bachelor’s, master’s, and PhD degrees.
• In 1984, the University was merged to University of Maiduguri , and it  became the  Modibbo Adama Campus (MACUM), Federal University of Technology, Yola.
• Later, the university was demerged and given complete autonomy in 1988. The university’s name was changed to Modibbo Adama University of Technology, (MAUTECH) Yola in 2011 with the approval of the then- current President and Commander in Chief, Dr. Goodluck Ebele Jonathan, GCFR, and it became effective on October 1 of that year.
• It was supposedly named after Modibbo Adama Ibn Hassan is (1809-1847), a great scholar, an erudite educationist, an outstanding leader and the founder of the Fombina Kingdom (The Present Adamawa Emirate).
• The new name took effect from 1st October, 2011.
• Subsequently,  President Muhammadu Buhari assented to the Modibbo Adama University (MAU) Yola establishment bill on 6 January 2021.
• The university has about 7 faculties and over 49 departments.

Candidates Eligible to Buy MAU/MAUTECH Post UTME Screening Form

To qualify for the screening, candidates MUST meet the following criteria:

• Must have chosen the Modibbo Adama Tarka University as their most preferred option (1st choice).
• Must have scored a minimum of 160 and are willing to apply for the 2024/2025 jamb utme, with five relevant O’level credits (including Mathematics and English language) are eligible to register into 100 level.
• Other Candidates: Those who did not choose MAUTECH as their first choice can also register for the online post UTME screening by:
  • Changing the institution to MAU from the JAMB platform (Change of institution).
  • Notifying the change to MAU (with JAMB Reg. No. and Phone Number) via the following email address: admissions@mautech.edu.ng.
  • Waiting for a response from MAU to proceed with registration.

Steps for Online Registration:
Initial Steps:

• Log on to: https://mautech.edu.ng/ and click on 2024/2025 POST UTME – link.
• Follow the details as displayed.
• Pay the Registration Fee: You will be required to pay N2,000.00 for the Registration.

Full Registration Procedure:

Creating an Account:

• Visit the University website mautech.edu.ng and click on 2024/2025 Apply now link.
• Click on new applicant.
• Enter your name, JAMB No., valid email address, and phone number.
• Click on ‘submit’, and the login page will be displayed.
• Use your JAMB No as your username and password to log in.

Making the Payment:

• You will be redirected to REMITA payment platform.
• Chose a payment option (using ATM Card or Bank):
  • ATM Card Payment Option:
    • Follow the instructions and enter your card details.
    • An OTP confirmatory code will be sent to confirm the transaction.
    • Enter the OTP code to complete the transaction.
    • N2,000.00 will be deducted from your account.
  • Bank Payment Option:
    • Follow the instructions to print the e-invoice with the Remita Reference No.
    • Pay the sum of N2,000.00 at any Commercial Bank.
    • Receive a payment receipt.

Proceeding with the Registration:

• Return to MAUTECH website, select 2024/2025 POST UTME link, log in, and proceed with registration.
• Enter your choice of programme, educational qualifications, and upload the required documents.
• Upload a recent passport photograph with a plain red background in JPEG format (not more than 50kb).
• Upload Scanned Copies of the required Documents (not exceeding 100kb each).

Submission and Printing of the Application Form:

• Cross-check and submit the application.
• Print your application form by clicking on the ‘Print Application’ button.

Important Notes:

• Those with awaiting results are advised to upload obtained results immediately on the Post-UTME Platform.
